We partner with a variety of other rescues, non-profits, and individuals in the community to find a good fit for our ranch and for the animals in need.  We have a particular interest in miniature breeds, as they often are discarded when they don't stay so mini and/or have special needs and health concerns. We are a sanctuary for all of the animals here at this point and intend to be the forever home for those who walk through our gates!

We have a few miniature breeds, but we also have full-size breeds too, and we primarily have farm animals. So far we have: pot belly pigs, mini horse, mini donkey, alpacas, sheep, tortoises, dogs, and cats. While we don't have plans to grow right now, we welcome questions about an animal in need; if we can't personally take on the animal, then we have an extensive network to call upon for more help. We are a sanctuary, which means that everyone can call Robin's Nest Rescue their forever home.  Once an animal joins our family, we ensure they have food, clean water, shelter, vet care, treats, supplements, bedding, and of course LOTS OF LOVE. We feed FOUR types of hay and FIVE kinds of grain/dry food twice a day.  They get daily attention from a variety of visitors, staff, volunteers, and their RNR animal neighbors.

Absolutely!  We understand not everyone has the time and resources to consistently volunteer.  We do ask, however, that if you would like to visit the ranch and the animals, please consider making a donation to RNR so that we can continue providing the quality of care that these animals deserve. We'd like to take steps to establish a formal program, tentatively named Side by Side, which will introduce individuals to a variety of our animals and the situations that brought them to our rescue.  We will utilize live educational tours and activities to explain the mutual benefits of the dynamic relationship between people and animals. Our target population for Side by Side centers around individuals who could significantly benefit from such interactions, including but not limited to: youth, veterans, and exonorees.
